An associate professor at the University of Queensland in Australia, Mark Andrejevic writes about surveillance, new media and popular culture. He spoke with FRONTLINE about whether kids — and adults — really understand what happens to the data they share online. “All of that information, the reason it’s collected, is because of the potential to putting it to use.
